Whatever the convoluted thinking, but it's a joke to have lost the PowerPivot function going from Office 2016 Home, to Office 365 Home, which installs identical with the full apps on the device. (and more reasons such as the 1TB OneDrive cloud storage). Don't know why, but suspect it is because I bought Office 2016 first (upgraded/updated from 2013) in 2015, then earlier this year added an Office 365 subscription to get at those new functions Unfortunately, that solution lost me the newer functions such as IFS. They told me I had to upgrade to Office Proplus. Microsoft was very little help in trying to figure out if the standalone version had the Powerpivot tables. It looks just like the home addition version but it had the PowerPivot tab. I don't think I uninstalled the version that came with the home edition. Click Insert > Module, and copy below code into the window. Press Alt + F11 keys to open Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window. If you are interested in VBA, you can hide or show the PivotTable Field List do as follow: 1. Click Next and select the pivot table that you want to use as a source (select starting with the actual headers of the fields). Hide/Show PivotTable Field List with VBA. In the list of data source options choose 'Microsoft Excel list of database'. I had to buy the 2016 standalone version and just installed it. In a new sheet (where you want to create a new pivot table) press the key combination (Alt+D+P).
